In the COVID 19 pandemic, lockdown is the hope for a ton, then it has also stood as devils for a lot as well. This COVID-19, has pushed a vulnerable group of people, challenging their lives and livelihood. They are mostly daily wage laborers struggling to make ends meet without work. They are heading towards a crisis of food and basic needs.
To cope up with this chaos- Pandemic situation, Rural Development Centre Nepal in support of Islamic Relief Nepal, have supported 1810 vulnerable and needy group of people of five Municipalities of Rautahat district.
1. Rajpur Municipality- 350 Households
2. Ishnath Municipality- 351 HHs
3. Yamuna Mai Rural Municipality- 304 HHs
4. Paroha Municipality- 401 HHs
5. Gaur Municipality- 404 HHs
Each family received a food pack, including Rice (30 Kg), Lentils (3 Kg), Sugar (2 Kg), Edible Oil (2 Litre), Salt (2 Kg), Soap (4 Piece).
We are thankful to our volunteers, staffs, ward members, Local government, DDMC, funding agency support to distribute food packages to the needy and vulnerable families during this COVID-19 pandemic. Many thanks to all who have supported make distribution successful.
